Healthy Back Program

This program is designed to show firefighters how to strengthen the muscles of their “core” which includes the low back, abdominals, obliques, hamstrings, and thighs. The focus is designed to help alleviate the low back problems which continues to plague firefighters and their job performance.

  • Improve the quality of job performance of the firefighter
  • Decrease the amount of worker’s compensation claims
  • Decrease the amount of work days lost to injury

This program meets 2 times a week over the course of 6 weeks for 55 minutes
